1 The hometown of Ginkgo biloba in China is Taixing City, Jiangsu Province. Pizhou is one of the five largest ginkgo bases in China. At present, ginkgo orchards are 2 1 10,000 mu, and the annual output of ginkgo fruits is 900 tons, accounting for one tenth of the whole country. The output of ginkgo biloba leaves is 1.2 million tons, accounting for about 60% of the national output. The production capacity of ginkgone is 250 tons, accounting for 80% of the national total.
