The Pear Mushroom is a kind of wild mushroom grown in the southern region of China, mainly in the deep forests of rural areas around Fujian and Jiangxi.

The Pear Mushroom is named after the similarity of its cap color to that of a pear. Among all kinds of edible wild mushrooms, the Pear Mushroom has the largest quantity, and it is relatively less picky about the growing environment, as it grows along the roadside in the jungle and even on the ridges of mountains in dense forests, and it tends to grow densely in clusters.
