"DOTA", translated as Dota, is a custom map based on "Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne". It is also an RPG map of Warcraft officially recognized by Blizzard.

The map is divided into two opposing camps. Players can win by operating heroes to destroy the opponent's ruins and buildings. This multiplayer online competitive mode later became known as "Dota-like games" and had a profound impact on many subsequent games.
