Some patients feel pain behind the ear from the beginning, some suffer from the loss of taste in the first two-thirds of the tongue, and some have auditory allergies. This disease is equivalent to peripheral facial paralysis in western medicine.
Traditional Chinese medicine believes that overwork and lack of healthy qi in the body lead to blood deficiency, unstable defensive qi, wind-cold or wind-heat taking advantage of it to enter the meridians in the middle face, blood stasis blocking and muscle loss of control.
Vitamin B elements, such as vitamin B 1, B6 and B 12, are helpful to the recovery of facial nerve diseases. Calcium is not only beneficial to bones and intelligence, but also can promote normal muscle and nerve function. Because patients with facial nerve diseases are mainly facial nerve conduction disorders, which lead to muscle atrophy, it is very important to supplement calcium.
The special acupoints for treating facial paralysis are Bai Yang, Sibai, Cang Di, Bike and Hegu.
Bai Yang's massage of Bai Yang point can dredge the local meridians of the eyes, and the meridians around the eyes are unobstructed, and blood stasis can pass, so it can improve the symptoms of eyelid dysfunction caused by facial paralysis.
Four-white massage at Bai Yang point can enhance the function of the spleen and stomach, improve the body's resistance and drive away evil spirits. Similarly, the four white points also have the function of dredging the meridians around the eyes. Combined with Bai Yang point, it can treat eyelid closure disorder caused by facial paralysis.
Pressing Cang Di point can dredge oral channels and relax local muscles, thus improving the symptoms of mouth askew and drooling.
The combination of buccal car and recess point can dredge local meridians, strengthen spleen and stomach, and improve symptoms such as angular stomatitis and drooling caused by facial paralysis.
Hegu has a good effect of dredging the meridians and qi and blood in the head and face. Since ancient times, facial paralysis and mouth-to-mouth disease can be treated by Hegu point, and the hand Yangming large intestine meridian ends at the head and face, so this point is indispensable for facial paralysis self-massage.
1. Press points Bai Yang, Sibai, Cang Di, Buccal Chueh and Hegu.
Patients with facial paralysis can massage Bai Yang, Sibai, Cang Di, Buccal Vehicle and Hegu points by themselves. During the operation, they can massage each acupoint with their thumbs for 3-5 minutes in turn until they feel local pain or numbness. After pressing the above-mentioned special-effect points, you can also rub the forehead, cheeks and lips of the affected side slowly, evenly and forcefully with your index finger, middle finger and ring finger, that is, do circular motion while rubbing for about 3 minutes, which is suitable for local fever. Open your fingers again and make a wide and irregular pat on your face. The beating is moderate, and you can feel it on your face in about 2 minutes. This method can dredge facial meridians and qi and blood, thus improving symptoms. (See Figure 6- 17, Figure 6- 18, Figure 6- 19, Figure 6-20, Figure 6-2 1).
2. Skin acupuncture
If there is a chaperone, the chaperone can tap with a skin needle (plum blossom needle) along the Du Meridian of the patient's back and the bladder meridian of the foot sun, which can mobilize the body's anti-evil ability and drive away evil spirits. The Du Meridian is located on the back spine, and the Foot Sun Meridian is 65,438+0.5 inches on both sides of the spine (that is, half of the connecting line between the spine and the scapula is 65,438+0.5 inches on the back), and the skin is used to target these two meridians.
If there is no one to accompany you, the patient can gently tap the above-mentioned facial special-effect acupuncture points with plum blossom needle in front of the mirror, taking slight redness of the skin as the degree, and do not use force to avoid hurting the facial skin and leaving scars.
3. Acupoint application
Wet nux vomica, slice it and apply it on facial paralysis, 23rd 1 change. Or file the nux vomica into powder 1.2 points, sprinkle it on the adhesive tape, and then stick it on the three acupoints of Shimonoseki, Taiyang and Bai Yang. Change the dressing on May 7th 1 time. Semen Strychni, bitter in taste, cold in nature and toxic, has been used by doctors in past dynasties to treat facial paralysis, with quick clinical effect and good effect. Because of its toxicity, it is often used externally.
4. External application of eel blood
It is generally believed that eel blood has the functions of promoting blood circulation, seeking wind and dredging collaterals. When applied locally, it can stretch facial muscles, stimulate nerves and promote the recovery of paralyzed muscles.
The treatment of facial paralysis with eel blood was recorded as early as the Yuan Dynasty's "Effective Prescription of World Doctors": "A big eel, by needling the blood on its head, obliquely smeared from left to right, obliquely smeared from right to left and washed away." Apply eel blood to the affected side, wash it off after 30 minutes, and then carry out the second treatment after 3 days. It should be noted that the drug should be stopped immediately after recovery, and it must not be overkill.
