There are five dormitory buildings in Aurora Vocational College. Buildings 1 and 2 do not have balconies. Buildings 3, 4, and 5 have balconies, but they are relatively small. The overall greening is pretty good, but students living on lower floors are likely to encounter mosquitoes in summer.

The restaurant of Shanghai Aurora Vocational College has a beautiful environment, the table top is clean and tidy, and the overall decoration style is quite bright.

I heard from my classmates that their cafeteria has a wide variety of food, including three-fresh wontons, pan-fried pot stickers, bibimbap, Korean fried noodles, spicy hotpot, and all kinds of brunch. The aunties who cook are also very enthusiastic and occasionally chat with them. The service attitude is still very good.

In addition, there are various snack bars on campus, including milk tea, fried chicken, pork chops, etc., which also provide students with many choices. Moreover, the prices of the meals are still very approachable and in line with the consumption level of young people.

Sports facilities and venues

The sports facilities and venues of Shanghai Aurora Vocational College are relatively complete. The 400m standardized sports field and gymnasium are used for students' physical education classes. In addition, there are also professional classes such as multimedia classrooms and lecture theaters.

According to my classmates, although Aurora College is relatively small, it still has all the necessary basketball courts, football fields, badminton courts, etc., and you can usually meet a group of like-minded students. In the past, there was usually no need to queue and you could play right away.

School environment

Generally speaking, the environment in the school is good. Both Aurora campuses are located in Baoshan District, Shanghai.

My classmates said that although Aurora Vocational College occupies a small area, it still provides many conditions for students who like to study. The library is very large and contains many books, e-books, newspapers and magazines. In addition, there is an auditorium, experimental theater, piano room, film and television viewing hall, cafe, bakery and life service street.

There are also Baoshan Park and Plaza near Aurora. It is very close to Fujin Road Subway Station and Meilan Road Subway Station. The transportation is very convenient and you can travel at any time.

Military training

Military training at Shanghai Aurora Vocational College is generally required for freshman admission. Military training generally lasts for two weeks and begins at the beginning of school in September.

According to my classmates, military training is not strict in general. It usually involves training in formation, walking in step, and some basic operations. There are usually many entertainment activities such as cultural evenings, and sometimes we will take you to a cool place to train, so don't worry too much.
