Located in the jurisdiction of Tang Ya Temple Town, 30 kilometers northwest of Xianfeng County, with an area of 4 square kilometers, the Yuan and Ming Dynasties were the Tusi Yamen in Tang Ya. The city was founded in the Yuan Dynasty and renovated in the Ming Dynasty, which lasted more than 470 years. It has 36 courtyards, in 18 lane, 3 blocks. Tusi City faces Tangya River in front and Xuanwu Mountain in the back, with dangerous terrain and unique scenery. Earth walls are built around the city on the basis of stone walls, and the residual height is about 1 m. There is a school yard, a parade platform, a garden of ten thousand people, large and small government offices, left and right barracks, a Huanhou Temple and a stone archway.
Over the past 260 years, the streets and walls in the ruins of Tusi City have been changed and destroyed by the Cultural Revolution, but today, the walls of the streets are still clear, the stone archways are intact, and the stone statues and horses of Huanhou Temple still exist. It is the most typical, largest and best preserved site of Tangya Tusi City in the minority areas of Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan and Guizhou. Inside and outside the existing city, the cultural landscape is all over the city. The most important ones are large stone carvings, such as stone statues, stone horses and stone archways, the tombs and ancient tombs of local kings, the couple's fir trees, Princess Springs and dozens of other scenic spots. Tusi tombs are located in the back mountain area of Tusi City, with unique architecture, which embodies the folk culture of Tujia people. On the hill behind the stone archway, there is a pair of tall and green Chinese fir, which is said to have been planted by Xuanwei's wife Tian in Apocalypse. Up to now, the tree has a height of 44 meters and a crown of 225 square meters, and the two branches are connected, such as husband and wife holding hands and loving each other.
