1. Internal parasite removal: Common gastrointestinal parasitic diseases in sheep are mainly nematodes, tapeworms, flukes and mites. The deworming drugs that can be used include ivermectin injection, Ganman net, albendazole, abamectin, etc. The dosage is 1 ml injection once for 50 kilograms of sheep, and again after 10-15 days. When using anthelmintics, pay attention to the accurate dosage. It is best to do a small group deworming test first, and then carry out the full group deworming after gaining experience.
2. To control Fasciola hepatica, you can choose Ganmanjing, which is effective in controlling Fasciola hepatica and most gastrointestinal nematodes in cattle and sheep. Use 1 ml injection once for 50 kilograms of sheep, and again after 10-15 days. If you choose to feed sheep with mixed materials, you can add ivermectin powder, mix 100 kilograms of the whole material, mix evenly, and then feed. 20 mg per kilogram of body weight, fed for 3 days. For different insect diseases, if it is tapeworm, 20 mg has the same effect as praziquantel and should be used for three days.
3. To expel external parasites: local application or medicinal bath can be used. The specific implementation method should be based on the number of sheep and the conditions of on-site facilities. Generally, when skin diseases such as scabies occur locally on sheep, local application can be used. When scabies is common in sheep or to prevent scabies, medicinal bathing can be used. To prepare the medicinal bath solution, you can use 1% trichlorfon solution, add 100 kilograms of water, and leave it for 1-2 minutes before use. Generally, about 15 sheep can be washed.
