Freshwater crabs can be kept in fish tanks, large glass tanks, plastic tanks and other containers, and the bottom is covered with gravel to build a slope. Adjust the gradient to 1/3- 1/4 with 0.4-0.5% saline water, and install a small filter if possible. Freshwater crabs can be fed with minced fish, clams or shrimps. Food should be placed on the sand surface of water and fed once a day. Food that cannot be eaten should be cleaned up in time to avoid polluting the water quality. Change the water every week in summer 1/3, and it is a little longer in winter.

Feeding method of freshwater crabs: It is suggested to make a water tank with cover glass and leave some air vents to help maintain temperature and humidity and reduce the occurrence of diseases (when smelling bad smell).

Bottom sand: It is recommended to use disinfected beach sand, silica-free sand, Xiaohe stone, coral sand, etc. And the depth suggestion is twice that of terrestrial freshwater crabs, which can effectively provide burial for them.

Horizontal heater: (infrared heating-it seems that there is no one in Taiwan Province Province) The temperature should be controlled above 26℃.

Three plates: one for fresh water, one for salt water and one for food.

Food: omnivorous food, which can provide fruit or dry food. It is suggested to feed less frequently to avoid food spoilage.

Sponge: put it in a water pan to provide maximum humidity and avoid water accumulation.

Humidity meter: It can help you keep the humidity. Insufficient humidity will make it difficult for fresh water to breathe (they are still breathing through their gills).

Stability of water quality: avoid using tap water directly and ensure that the water does not contain harmful substances.

Stress clothing: for medicinal bath, 1~2 drops of warm water.

Seawater pond: All terrestrial freshwater crabs need salty food, so it is best to provide a semi-salty pond in the breeding box. The recommended modulus is 1.005 (after calculation).

Bath tube: used for bathing freshwater crabs, deep enough to prevent them from crawling out.

Spray bottle: used to improve humidity, especially during travel or drought.
