Alaskan Malamute is absolutely loyal to its owner. If its owner is in danger and meets the enemy, it will not shrink back at all, but will go forward to resist the enemy and defend its owner's safety. Alaskan sled dogs are very friendly and belong to "friends" rather than "loners". Like all sled dogs, it is extremely friendly to humans.
