Yunfu City is a city in Guangdong Province.
Yunfu City is located in the central and western part of Guangdong Province. It was established as a prefecture-level city in April 1994. It governs Yuncheng District, Yun'an District, Xinxing County, and Yunan County, and oversees Luoding City. The land area is 7785.1 square kilometers, the registered population is 3.0195 million, and the permanent population is 2.3933 million, of which 1.0662 million people live in cities and towns.
Yunfu City has an excellent ecological environment, with a forest coverage rate of 68.23% and a standing stock of 27 million cubic meters. The air quality rate throughout the year is 97%, and the water quality remains at the forefront of the province. The water quality in the Yunfu section of Xijiang River maintains Class II.
