② Lotus seed cake. Mooncakes made of lotus seed paste are sweet, fragrant and soft, suitable for tea and wine, and never get tired of eating. Lotus Mooncake was originally sold by Lianxianglou as a pastry, which was very popular among Guangzhou citizens. Later, restaurants and cake shops such as Guangzhou Restaurant and Taotaoju scrambled to imitate the production method of lotus Mooncake. After several generations of efforts, Cantonese-style lotus Mooncake has now become one of the favorite mooncake varieties of the whole country, exported overseas and widely welcomed by Chinese.
The varieties of lotus seed moon cakes are pure lotus seed moon, lotus seed moon and egg yolk, double yellow, triple yellow and quadruple yellow lotus seed moon. The materials used in the cake stuffing are very particular. We should choose the annual Xianglian. The stuffing is golden in color, smooth and fragrant, and the moon cake is rich and delicious.
③ mooncakes stuffed with bean paste. My favorite is red bean paste moon cake. Red bean paste won't be greasy and won't stick to your teeth.
The bean paste is delicate, sweet but not greasy or hard, and has a strong taste. It suits my taste very much.
