Nanpiao District belongs to Huludao City, Liaoning Province.

Nanpiao District is affiliated to Huludao City, Liaoning Province, and is located in the eastern part of Huludao City and the middle section of the Western Liaoning Corridor.

It is located at the junction of Huludao, Jinzhou and Chaoyang cities, between 120°33′-120°52′ east longitude and 40°12′-41°12′ north latitude, with a total area of ??993 square kilometers.

Nanpiao was established as a town in May 1962 and was affiliated with the former Jinxi County.

On September 20, 1994, Jinxi City was renamed Huludao City, and Nantiao District was subsequently renamed Huludao City Nantiao District.

Nanpiao District has Beijing-Shenyang Expressway in the south, Jingsi Expressway in the north, and Danxi Expressway in the middle that connects the north and south.
