Muzhaling primitive eco-tourism area is located in the southeast of Song County, Luoyang City. It is the first primitive eco-tourism area in Henan Province. It is 120 kilometers away from Luoyang and has direct access to the scenic spot by National Highway 311 and Linmu Highway.

The scenic area is adjacent to the two major scenic areas of Shiren Mountain and Baiyun Mountain from the east to the west, and consists of the Jiulong River Valley and virgin forest.

It consists of five major scenic spots: Guanmao Peak, Stone Forest, and Shiren Laojun Peak.

Muzhaling Tourist Area is located in the hinterland of the Funiu Mountains, the transition zone between the north temperate zone and the subtropical zone, and on the important geographical dividing line between the Qinling Mountains and the Huaihe River.

The special geographical location has given birth to unique, primitive and colorful biological resources.

The total area of ??the tourist area is 40 square kilometers, of which 20 square kilometers are virgin forests that have never had traces of human activities. The vast and profound virgin forests are the kingdom of plants and the paradise of animals.

According to the investigation, there are more than 2,000 species of plants in the scenic area, including national protected plants including springwood, manchurian ash, Chinese dragon scale elm, warm tree, and rock hardwood, as well as higher animals including leopards, fragrant deer, antelopes, etc.

The altitude of the tourist area ranges from 950 meters to 2153 meters. The area has steep peaks and numerous strange rocks.

Guanmao Peak rises abruptly at 300 meters, towering and straight, shaped like an official hat and a human face, carrying the beautiful myth of Yi Yin, the first prime minister of China;.

The surrounding peaks are densely covered with strange peaks and rocks, and the scenes are different. A stone horse with a height of 15 meters, with its head held high and its hooves raised, its back arched and its tail crossed, is lifelike; a stone chicken about 6 meters long flies down to the top of the mountain, moving in the wind and swaying with a snap of the fingers.

Jiangjun Peak stands tall and straight, like a guardian god, majestic.

The 1,000-meter drop in the Jiulong River Valley has created numerous waterfalls and pools, including the Green Dragon Pool, Huanglong Waterfall, Longjing, and Longtan, with various shapes and forms, including ups and downs and trickles.

The Long Waterfall, the first waterfall in the Central Plains with a height of 113 meters, jumps over the cliff and hangs down. The deep stream is shrouded in mist and the sound can be heard in the empty valley.
