Hohhot Stadium, referred to as Hohhot Stadium for short, is a stadium located in the south of Genghis Khan Street in the new city of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Compared with the People's Stadium in Hohhot built by 1952 ("old stadium"), Hohhot Stadium is called "new stadium" locally. The stadium project started in June 2005 and was completed and put into use on July 6, 2007. It is the largest stadium with the most complete facilities in northwest China.
