Where did Guan Chonggui live in his later years?
Tonghua county, Jilin province. Guan Chonggui is a native of Ganmahe Village, Kuaidamao Town, Tonghua County, Jilin Province. He joined the revolution in 1948. In the battles of Changjin Lake at 1950 and 12.27, he led the whole class to ambush the only way for the US troops to retreat and destroyed two US tanks. After the war, he was awarded the second-class flag medal of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and lived in Tonghua County, Jilin Province in his later years.
