Introduction of Mashi Town
Mashi Town is located in the northeast of Shixing County, with an administrative area of 198 square kilometers and a distance of11408' 41"in east longitude and 2501'53" in north latitude. It is adjacent to Nanxiong in the east, Dungang Town in the south, Taiping Town in the west, Beishan Township and Baishun Town in Nanxiong in the north. It covers an area of 280 square kilometers. The town is located on the bank of Zhenjiang River, with high terrain in the east and low terrain in the west, mountainous areas in the northeast and hills in the southwest. The cultivated land area is 3077.33 hectares, the forest area is 13333.33 hectares, and the timber volume is 40 1783 cubic meters. The annual average temperature is19.6 c, and the annual average rainfall is 1468 mm. The whole town is a red basin with purple soil, high phosphorus and potassium content, alkalinity, loose soil and good air permeability, which is suitable for planting cash crops such as tobacco, peanuts and beans.
