1. Qianqianfan Shanbei Qianqianfan sounds like a very auspicious name.
Originally, Qianqian rice was just a kind of famine rice for people who were short of food in northern Shaanxi. It was mostly cooked with rice bran and grain to satisfy their hunger.
Now Qianqian rice has become a well-known delicacy in Yan'an. Everyone knows that it is made from coarse grains.
The main raw material for making Qianqian Rice is black beans, which are soaked and crushed into pieces, shaped like copper coins, so the people call it "Qianqian Rice".
Mix 20% of the beans and 80% of the rice, and put them into the pot one by one. When the beans are half cooked, add millet.
2. Fruit filling Fruit filling is a traditional snack, a kind of stuffed cake. The filling is made from the famous Tan dates in northern Shaanxi. It is very delicious and famous in northern Shaanxi and even further places.
There are two types of fruit fillings: "jujube filling" and "sugar filling". In terms of texture and taste, jujube filling is more delicious than sugar filling, but sugar filling is less likely to spoil than jujube filling.
When making the fruit filling, the dough is made of pastry dough, wrapped in date paste or sugar, and pressed with a wooden mold. The center is dotted red and the outer edge is rounded like a wheel.
Once formed, place in a pan and bake over low heat until brown.

3. Yellow steamed bun Yellow yellow steamed bun is one of the famous specialty snacks in Huangling County, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province. It is named after its yellow color.
Yellow steamed buns are made from hard millet flour as the main raw material, mixed with yeast and water. After the dough is mixed and fermented, it is baked in a special pot.
After frying, fold it into two layers from the middle, making it easy to stuff meat, eggs, vegetables and other dishes.
It tastes crispy and delicious, and is loved by people.
4. Bowl holder Bowl holder, also known as "Wan Tuzi", is another snack in Yan'an.
Buckwheat noodle bowl is steamed using a special processing method. Buckwheat noodles and pig blood are kneaded together and heated to form a porridge paste, which is then left to cool.
When eating, cut it into thin triangular pieces, fry it thoroughly in a pan, put it into a bowl, top it with sesame sauce, garlic juice, vinegar, salt, MSG and other condiments, and eat it with a bamboo skewer.
