1. Qufu Tourism Area In 2019, Qufu Cultural Relics Scenic Area received a total of 5.3937 million Chinese and foreign tourists; Sankong Scenic Area received a total of 5.3125 million tourists.

2. Qufu City Tourism Qufu, the capital of Shandong in ancient times, was renamed Lu County and is now a county-level city in Shandong Province.

It is located in the southwest of Shandong Province, 135 kilometers north of the provincial capital Jinan.

There is Sishui in the east, Yanzhou in the west, Zoucheng in the south, and Mount Tai in the north.

The maximum vertical distance between north and south is 35.8 kilometers, and the maximum horizontal distance between east and west is 25 kilometers. The total area is 895.93 square kilometers.

The total population is 639,200 (2012).

The name Qufu was first seen in the Book of Rites in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Ying Shao of the Eastern Han Dynasty explained that there was a mound seven or eight miles long in Lucheng, so it was named Qufu.

Qufu has the famous Three Confucius: Confucius Mansion, Confucius Temple, and Confucius Forest. Confucius is the hometown of Confucius, the great thinker, educator, and founder of Confucianism in ancient China.

In 1982, Qufu was rated as one of the first batch of Chinese historical and cultural cities; in 1991, it was rated as one of the top 40 tourist attractions in the country by the National Tourism Administration.

In 1994, Confucius Temple, Confucius Mansion, and Confucius Forest Park were listed as world cultural heritage; in 1997, the National Tourism Administration determined Qufu as one of the 35 best tourist cities in China.

In December 1998, it was named one of the first batch of outstanding tourist cities in China; in 2004, it was rated as an advanced city in national cultural relics work; in 2007, Confucius Temple, Confucius Mansion and Konglin were rated as national AAAAA tourist attractions.

3. Jining, the nearest tourist attraction in Qufu tourist area, is known as the capital of canals. Bamboo pole lane, which retains the oldest context of Jining canal, can be said to be the essence of canal culture.

Zhuxiang, located on the south bank of the old canal in Jining City, Shandong Province, was once one of the busiest streets on the canal dock.

With the development of the city, although the style here has been preserved, most of the buildings were rebuilt later.

However, Zhifang Street, Hanshiqiao Street, Zhidian Street, Qingping Lane, Shengda Lane, Yongfeng Lane, and Dazhakou Henan Street still inherit the customs of canal culture, especially the nearby Dongda Temple and Xiaozha
