Brief introduction of Haikou town
Haikou Town is located at the southern end of Xishan District, beside the Tanglangchuan River. It is named after the southwest exit of Dianchi Lake. Dianchi Lake in the east, Jinning in the south, Anning in the west and Biji Town in the north. The total area of the town is 174.37 square kilometers, and the cultivated land area is 2 14 16 mu. Jurisdiction over 1 1 rural village committees, 74 villagers' groups and 2 residents' committees. There are 63 central, provincial, municipal and district-owned enterprises in the town, with a total population of nearly 654.38+million, urban population of 50,678, agricultural population of 24,395 and floating population of over 654.38+million. There are three ethnic groups living in this town: Han, Hui and Yi. Hui people live in Liren Village Committee, which is the most densely populated area in Xishan District. Yi people live in Luhai New Village of Shuangshao Village Committee and White Village Committee.
