Address: Shen_ Town, Yuzhou City, Xuchang City, Henan Province

One-day tour guide to Shen_ Ancient Town:

Walk through the Zuoyu Bridge and walk into Wangwang From Songzhai, we arrived at Shen_Old Street.

It coincides with the Junci Cultural Festival, and the renovated ancient town is crowded with people, and there is a festive atmosphere everywhere. The red lanterns hanging from the eaves of the shops along the street also seem to have experienced a romantic carnival and hangover, overlooking the long street, lazily and peacefully.

Walking on the long road paved with bluestone slabs and looking at the numerous shops along the street, I felt like I had seen each other before. This suddenly made me worry that the city would become a copy of those ancient cities and towns and would lose something of its own.

Fortunately, this is just a worry. The deeper I went, the more I felt the unique charm of God.

In the ancient town, most of the shops along the street have small fronts, low door heads, and low thresholds, so you can enter with just a few steps. This may have something to do with the terrain here.

The long street runs from west to east and slopes against the mountains. Even on rainy days, there is rarely any water accumulation. This place is located in a mountainous area with many ditches and streams. There are many villages named after ditches and streams. Therefore, if you feel that you are at the lowest point, you will always find that there is a lower place.

This is also the reason why walking in a bustling place can give you the feeling of searching for something hidden.

Because there is little water, there is no story about meandering water flowing into the wine glass, nor is there a sad girl with lilacs. However, God's daughter's home is beautiful, otherwise there would not be the legend of "Diao Chan's Hometown"; God's daughters are also tough, otherwise there would be no worship of the "Mother of Gold and Fire".

In the temple of the god Bo Ling Ong, three gods are sitting on the altar. One is Sun Bin from the Warring States Period, who was a charcoal burner and was worshiped as the God of Earth; the other is Shun who was even older, who was a pottery maker and was worshiped as the God of Kiln.

There is also a goddess of fire, the Holy Mother of Gold and Fire. Legend has it that she was the daughter of a potter. In order to save her parents, she sacrificed herself to the furnace, and her hard work turned into exquisite Jun porcelain, which was worshiped by future generations. There is a couplet on both sides of the mountain gate of Boling Ong Temple: "The magic pill has been passed down through the ages; Kunde is free from utilitarianism and profit."

The second couplet is a tribute to the Holy Mother of Gold and Fire. The legend of the three gods gives the temple the atmosphere of fireworks passed down from generation to generation, as well as the sanctity and mystery.

When you walk into the shops along the street, you can't put it down, ranging from large ritual tripods to small incense dishes and flower stands. A shop owner said that Jun porcelain has the same color when it enters the kiln, and comes out of the kiln in various colors, so each piece of Jun porcelain is unique. This is the principle of "Jun porcelain is the same".

I once encountered a lotus pond-shaped incense plate. The deep pond water seemed to be a deep thought, and it still attracts me to this day. Unfortunately, I missed it because of the price. When I looked back, I couldn't find the same one again.

God_The beauty of the ancient town lies in Junci and the courtyard. In Shen_, there was once a folk song like this: "Entering Shen_ Mountain, you will see seven miles of streets, seventy-two kilns, fireworks covering the sky, merchants walking everywhere, making money every day."

Prosperity. The business has created prosperous merchants, and what remains today are the Wen Family Courtyard, the Lu Family Courtyard, the Wang Family Courtyard, etc. There are some courtyards with three entrances and some with five entrances.

The last entrance of each courtyard is particularly solid and tall. Compared with the pavilions and waterside pavilions in Jiangnan ancient towns, these are less delicate and graceful, but more solid and practical.

In the ancient town, every courtyard is an exhibition hall. The layout in the exhibition hall follows the old customs: Eight Immortals table, Taishi chair, nave paintings, museum shelves, and several tables. The paintings in the nave are mostly ink landscapes. No matter how wealthy a person is, he still has a yearning for mountains and rivers in his heart.

The mind is leisurely looking for water and rocks, and the body is lying on the cloud mountain in old age. This is the influence of traditional Chinese culture, like water infiltration, and it gradually becomes mature. In Shen_, the charm of this traditional culture is also reflected in every artifact. Each piece of porcelain has a different auspiciousness or Zen meaning. This is the ingenuity and wisdom of gods and men.

Walking in the old streets feels like walking in history. It feels like there are too many places to walk through again and again, and there are too many things to appreciate in detail. The old street is thick because of its age, and beautiful because of its thickness.

神_Recommended must-see attractions in the ancient town:

Berling Temple

Boling Temple, also known as the "Kiln Temple", is located in the town Old Street Center. According to historical records, it was first built in the Song Dynasty. According to existing inscriptions, it was rebuilt in the eighth year of Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty (i.e. 1496). In 1986, it was announced as a "key cultural relic protection unit in Henan Province" and is a symbol of Jun porcelain culture. The unique architecture is an important symbol of the "Jundu" and "Porcelain Town" of the Queen of Gods.
