The first kind of food, when it comes to Fenghua's specialty food, I think of peaches first, because peaches are my favorite fruit. At present, the most famous peach producing areas in China are Fenghua in Ningbo and Yangshan in Wuxi. Fenghua peaches are sweet and juicy, so Fenghua cuisine is the first to promote peaches.

The second kind of food, two specialties of Fenghua, besides peaches, the other is taro. Fenghua taro is also a famous food in China. It is big and delicious, with high nutritional value.

The third kind of food, Fenghua Xikou Melaleuca Cake. This layered cake is different from other layered cakes for breakfast. This is a biscuit snack. Sprinkle some seaweed and sesame seeds on the surface of the biscuit. It tastes sweet and salty, fragrant and crisp. Very delicious. I liked it very much when I was a child, but it seems that I began to watch this snack less when I grew up.

The fourth food, Fenghua's clam, is also one of the special foods. Because it is located in the coastal area, there is always a lot of seafood, among which clams are the specialty here. It's delicious, it can be steamed and boiled, and the soup is first-class. But I always feel that the taste is too fresh and a little fishy.

The fifth kind of food, Fenghua also has a specialty seafood, that is mud snail. Maybe many people don't like mud snails, because they have a fishy smell and the smell of sea mud. But when we eat them at home, we will add some seasonings, especially good cooking wine, which has a great influence on the taste of mud snails. Drunk snails are still very good, and they have a good appetite for meals.

The sixth kind of food, Phyllostachys praecox, is one of the famous local products in Fenghua, and its taste is very unique. Fresh bamboo shoots that have just been dug up will make people feel numb when cooking. There are two common ways for Fenghua people to eat bamboo shoots: braised bamboo shoots and roasted bamboo shoots.
