It is best to come in September in the Gregorian calendar, and early autumn is the most beautiful. The most interesting one is Daqinggou, located in Houqi. It takes about an hour by car from Tongliao. It is characterized by primitive forests and rafting, with a strong Mongolian style. You can eat beef jerky and drink kumiss. It won't take three days. Others include Kailu White Pagoda of the Yuan Dynasty, Naiman Palace of the Qing Dynasty, Zuozhong Xiaozhuang’s hometown, Zhaqi Mountain Grassland Tourism, and Kulun Fuyuan Temple. These don't cost much, just over a thousand yuan. I personally feel that there is no interesting place in Tongliao, so it is best not to come here. It used to be the Horqin Grassland, and now it is full of yellow sand.
