I travel a lot. When I was in college, I took trains all over the country. Later, I mostly traveled by car. I met a lot of people and things, so let me pick out a few representative ones to talk about.
1. After graduating from high school in 2012, I took the train to Lhasa. Of course, the beautiful scenery along the way was endless and dizzying. After visiting Lhasa for a few days, I took the bus to Shigatse. After a 5-hour drive, I sat in the last row. , the Tibetan aunt next to me didn’t speak Chinese, and we didn’t have much communication along the way, but when she took out some milk candies, she still gave them to me. This is also the most delicious candy I have ever eaten, because I am 18 years old. Feel the warmth from strangers.
2. I entered Tibet by train again in 2013. In Gyantse County, after going to the Anti-British Castle, I came down and walked to the Baiju Temple. I saw many small bread-like things on the roadside. I became very interested and walked over to ask if they were selling it. The old woman at the door couldn't understand Chinese and hurriedly asked the child to come out. I was a little disappointed to learn that this was a pastry made by myself and eaten by myself. Then she took out The bag was full and given to me. I didn’t pay for it. It was delicious. Since this incident, I have come to think that Tibetan friends are all kind and enthusiastic. Their piety and purity are unmatched by anyone.
3. In January 2014, I took the train home from Changsha (Hebei) and was very nervous about tickets. I had no choice but to buy a station ticket and move a stool to sit in the middle aisle of the train. In the smoky atmosphere, there was an old man from Northeast China who went out to work. He looked over fifty years old and looked very tired. Out of curiosity, I handed him a cigarette and started chatting. It was like an 80-year-old mother, but she was not up to par. My son talked to me about his youth, the hardships of working, and advised me to work hard. That’s how it went. I never asked the uncle for his name, nor did I leave his contact information. However, the appearance of this uncle was deeply imprinted in my brain, and his words were played over and over again.
4. In 2017, I drove to the South of Caiyun. After experiencing the Xiaguan wind and the Erhai moon, I drove to Lijiang and stayed in a very comfortable inn in Lijiang, and the price was not high. We got to know each other while chatting with the enthusiastic boss, and found out that he was from Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, so we became even more in tune with each other. He invited me to dinner many times. I stayed in Lijiang for a few days and tasted almost all the delicacies of Lijiang. I still keep in touch with him from time to time. . It can be regarded as an adventure in travel and is worth cherishing.
5. In 2018, I was driving on National Highway 219 from Kashgar, Xinjiang to Lhasa. On the way, I met a girl from Hunan who wanted to take a ride to Ali. I happily picked her up and we walked for two days, nearly 1,500 kilometers. , this person was very casual in the car, taking off his socks and slippers, and there was almost no communication. When he arrived at the Shiquan River in Ali, he didn't even say a word of thanks. I don’t have to ask others to thank me, I just feel weird that this person and this incident are really unforgettable for me.
