Daoxiang Village (Suzhou) originated from 1773 248 years ago, when it was called "Suzhou Daoxiang Village Tea Shop". When Emperor Qianlong went down to the south of the Yangtze River, he ate cakes in Daoxiang Village, Suzhou, praised them as "delicious food" and inscribed a plaque, which became famous all over the world.
Daoxiang Village adheres to the "artisan spirit" in products, and traditional handicraft skills are passed down from generation to generation through the way of "master with apprentice". From birth to now, it has spread to the sixth generation.
Daoxiang Village (Suzhou) has developed from an old shop in Guanqian Street, Suzhou, into a large group food enterprise with ten modern food production and processing centers in China and several raw material direct supply bases in Shandong, Jiangsu, Yunnan and Inner Mongolia.
Suzhou Daoxiang Village is exported to more than 40 countries and regions around the world. In 2003 and 2008, Suzhou Daoxiang Village authorized Beijing Daoxiang Village to use Daoxiang Village trademark on cakes twice.
