If you take other people's habits as the standard, there are too many things you shouldn't eat. They didn't eat crabs, pig offal or stinky tofu before. Why is it civilized for you to eat beef and uncivilized for me to eat dog meat?

The status of dogs in China's traditional culture has always been very low, but with the development of pet culture, cats and dogs are increasingly regarded as friends and partners of human beings and as spiritual animals. When we give animals some meaning, they are no longer just a kind of food in our eyes. Burning harps and cooking cranes spoil the scenery, because harps and cranes are elegant things.
