Last Saturday, I went hiking. When I arrived at the mountainside, I found many such stones on the ground. At first, I thought they were pebbles. When I took a closer look, I found that they were very strange stones: egg-shaped, with good texture and five eyes at the top. Beating with stones is very hard, somewhat like a miniature version of bodhi fruit. I picked up more than a dozen and brought them back.

I want to be ashamed and think I'm well informed, but I haven't seen this thing. When I got home, I played with it in my hand, so I looked it up online because I was curious. I was surprised by the results. This thing can be made into a bracelet to play with.

This is a kind of fruit tree called "Zizyphus jujuba mill", and the stone formed after the fruit is hard in texture, because there are five equally divided holes at the top. Punch holes from beginning to end to make beads bracelets, because it coincides with the number of "five eyes and six connections" in Buddhism, so it is called "Bodhi with five eyes and six connections".

The five eyes and six links in Buddhism are: naked eye, celestial eye, dharma eye, wisdom eye and Buddha eye; Tian Yan Tong, Tian Er Tong, He Xin Tong, Destiny Tong, Shen Jing Tong, Leak Tong Liu Tong.

"Choerospondias axillaris" is a deciduous tree, also known as five-eyed fruit, chamomile fruit and snot fruit, belonging to the Rhus family. The trunk is straight and tall, the bark is grayish brown, the fruit is oval or obovate, it is yellow when it matures, and the mesocarp is pulpy. The flowering period is in April, and the fruit ripens in August 8- 10/October. Mainly distributed in southern China, but also in India. Tannin can be extracted from bark and leaves. Fruit can be eaten raw or made into wine. The stone can be used as raw material of activated carbon. Stem bark fibers can be used as ropes. Bark and fruit are used as medicine.

After understanding this knowledge, I looked through the process of making bracelets. At the beginning, I didn't understand the benefits of this stone. When I saw it everywhere on the ground, I thought it would never be a good thing, otherwise it would have been picked up by these climbers, so I picked up a dozen, and now it's just enough to make a bracelet.

Understand the production process, then wash the core and remove the surface impurities and nuts with a small carving knife. This fruit is really different. The nuts grow in these five holes, and the other parts are all wooden parts. It's amazing to want to come to heaven and earth. Then take the "mini" electric drill and start punching holes from front to back. After punching the hole, rub the surface of the stone core with an old towel, polish it simply, and string it together. A pair of "Five Eyes and Six Passes Bodhi" bracelets made by the stone core of Zizyphus jujuba made its debut.

Next, when it is completely dry, you can wear it on your wrist to play with it. Wear it for a long time and rub it with your hands constantly. After a period, you can feel that when you play with beads, there will be a sticky feeling, which shows that the surface of beads has been covered with pulp. After a long time, the surface of the bracelet will have a bright light, and it will also reflect the luster like glass.
