What are the ranks, grades and years of service of soldiers?
A soldier's rank, rank and service life are the rank and service life of a soldier. Those who have not retired after reaching a certain service life will be promoted to the corresponding rank.

According to the provisions of Article 19 of the Regulations of China People's Liberation Army on the Service of Soldiers in Active Service, the ranks of soldiers are awarded and promoted:

(1) Soldiers: conscripts who have served in active service for one year shall be awarded the rank of Private; Private was promoted to first class in the second year of active service.

(2) Junior noncommissioned officers: if a superior soldier is selected as a junior noncommissioned officer after the expiration of his active service, he will be promoted to corporal; Corporal who continues to serve in active service after three years is promoted to sergeant.

(3) Intermediate non-commissioned officers: if a non-commissioned officer is selected as an intermediate non-commissioned officer after three years of active service, he will be promoted to a staff sergeant; If a staff sergeant continues to serve in active service for four years, he will be promoted to a fourth-grade chief sergeant.

(4) Senior noncommissioned officers: if a fourth-grade master sergeant has been selected as a senior noncommissioned officer after serving in active service for four years, he will be promoted to a third-grade master sergeant; If the third-class master sergeant continues to serve in active service for four years, he will be promoted to the second-class master sergeant; If the second-class master sergeant continues to serve in active service for four years, he will be promoted to the first-class master sergeant.

Other provisions on the ranks of soldiers.

"Regulations on the Service of Soldiers in Active Service of the People's Liberation Army of China" Article 23 The promotion of soldiers' ranks during their study in colleges and training institutions shall be handled by their subordinate units. The promotion of a soldier's rank during his hospitalization shall be handled by the original unit. If a soldier who is disabled due to illness or non-work-related injury is hospitalized or sick for more than half a year, his rank shall be suspended for not less than half a year; Those who meet the requirements and continue to serve in active service after the end of medical treatment shall be promoted on schedule.

Twenty-fourth soldiers suspected of violating the law and discipline shall be examined according to law, and their ranks shall not be promoted temporarily; If there is no violation of law and discipline after examination, it will be promoted on schedule.
