Translation:

The poem describes the scenery of early October and winter in the north that Cao Cao saw on his way home from the northern expedition to Wuhuan. The birds of prey also hid and disappeared, and even the bears went to sleep in the cave. Farmers put down their farm tools and stopped working. The harvested crops were piled up in the grain fields, and hotels were being arranged to accommodate the travelling merchants, which expressed the poet's feeling of hardship in the southern expedition and the northern expedition.

Drunk to see the ink flowers and the moon white, suddenly suspected that the snow was full of the former village.

Translation:

On the day of beginning of winter, the weather was cold, the ink and pens were frozen, and I was just lazy not to write new poems. The wine on the stove was always warm.

Zuiyan watched the ink stain pattern on the inkstone under the moon, but in a trance, I thought it was heavy snow falling all over the mountain village.
