Peucedanum purpurea, also known as Angelica sinensis, Radix Angelicae Pubescentis, Wild Vegetable Spicy, Coriander, Mulberry Root Seedling, Radix Peucedani, and Radix Angelicae Pubescentis. It is a perennial herb, belonging to Umbelliferae, widely distributed in China, and mostly grows in hillside grassland or sparse forest. Peucedanum purpurea has special chemical constituents and has special research and application value in medicine. The ethanol extract of Peucedanum purpurea has expectorant, antispasmodic, antiplatelet aggregation and anti-inflammatory effects, and inhibits the growth and metabolism of cancer cells.

Irregular cylindrical, conical or spindle-shaped, the main root is thin, with few branches, 3 ~ 15cm long and 0.8 ~ 1.7cm in diameter ...
