When it comes to pie, every family has its own way of making it, and everyone has their own favorite fillings. What I recommend to you today is pie made with white radish. The reason is that daikon is sweet and juicy, with a crispy texture in your mouth. The pie made in this way does not require complicated ingredients and seasonings to bring out the delicious taste of daikon.
500 grams of white radish, 50 grams of dried shrimps, 200 grams of all-purpose flour, appropriate amount of salt, two green onions, appropriate amount of soy sauce, a little sesame oil, appropriate amount of white pepper
Preparation steps:
p>1. First, wash the white radish and peel it. Use a tool to cut the white radish into shredded radish. Add a little salt to a basin and leave it for 20 minutes to remove the water from the white radish.
2. Pinch the water out of the white radish with your hands.
3. Soak the dried shrimps in cold water, drain the water powder, and cut into fine pieces.
4. Add oil to the pot and heat it up. Add the processed shrimps and minced green onions and stir-fry until fragrant. Then add the shredded white radish with the moisture removed and continue to stir-fry. Add soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir-fry with white pepper powder and set aside to cool.
5. Put all-purpose flour and appropriate amount of salt in the basin and stir evenly, then slowly pour in boiling water and stir evenly, then add cold water and knead the dough.
6. Place the dough on the table and knead it repeatedly until the surface is smooth, then cover it with plastic wrap and let it rise for half an hour.
7. Divide the proofed dough into doughs of equal size, then cover them with plastic wrap and proof them for the second time, about 10 minutes.
8. Use a rolling pin to roll the risen dough into a dough of suitable size, and add the fried fillings in the middle.
9. Fold the four corners of the dough towards the middle, seal the bottom and pinch tightly.
10. Turn the seal downwards and gently flatten it with your hands.
11. Heat the oil in a pan, put the prepared pie into the pan, and fry over medium-low heat until both sides are golden brown.
