The Zhangzhou mangrove red crab is a sea crab. Red crab, also called red sturgeon, has extremely high nutritional value and is beneficial to children with nocturia, elderly people suffering from kidney problems and frequent urination, neurasthenia, physical weakness, anemia, rickets in children, and postpartum after illness. Sturgeons like to inhabit offshore, inland seas, bays, estuaries, and Hanzhong, which are warm waters with moderate salinity and abundant food. The Minjiang Estuary in our province has a mild climate, where sea and fresh water meet, and the water quality is good and the food is abundant. The famous Langwa Red Sturgeons are produced in the coastal waters of the Minjiang River estuary. The Langqi red sturgeon has fat, red, delicious flesh and a unique flavor. It is a treasure of seafood. Three thousand acres of artificially cultivated red sturgeons have been developed to supply the Fuzhou market and sometimes exported.
