Betta farming requires water temperature. The water temperature should not be lower than 20 degrees, and should be controlled between 22 and 24 degrees. Betta is known for its aggressiveness. When many male betta fish are kept in a fish tank, it is easy to wait for an opportunity to attack each other, causing each other to be scarred. The survival rate of betta fish is not high, because they have high requirements for the living environment, such as neutral water quality and dissolved oxygen of 5 mg/L.
Matters needing attention in fighting fish breeding
Betta is a unique tropical fish, which has a Gilfan system and is really not afraid of hypoxia. But because it is not afraid of lack of oxygen, many fish friends have relaxed their vigilance. If the small tank is not changed for a long time, the harmful substances in the water will exceed the standard, and the betta fish will soon die.
So we raise betta fish, either the water body can be wider, or we must replace it with new water in time, otherwise it will be dangerous.
If the culture density between bettas is too high and there are too many obstacles in the fish tank, they can also be mixed. Betta will not bully other fish actively, and can live in peace with many small fish. Instead of keeping them in bottles, we might as well let them go back to the fish tank with other fish.
