The Crazy Diary of Fat Rui
Inadvertently saw the introduction of "Fat Rae's Mad Diary" on Knowles, and spent two days immersed in it. British drama, three seasons, ten or so episodes, no fast-forwarding, nice to watch.

The main character of the story is called Rae, a common girl with low self-esteem, excessive obesity, moodiness, and self-abusive tendencies.

Three seasons of the story witness her transformation. In many of the moments, I felt like I saw myself. Let's mention a few points that struck a chord of empathy.

1. Low self-esteem.

rae is really fat enough, girlfriends hot body, but also very beautiful, she low self-esteem and even jealous, I think there is no excuse. After all, this kind of feeling, as a normal girl I say, is too normal. Because of the fat, rae is not willing to face their own body, feel that they do not deserve to have finn cherub's love, do not deserve to walk with him, brainstormed all kinds of ridiculed by other people's picture (of course the fact is indeed there, just not so exaggerated). She's not strong, not even good enough.

Rae's low self-esteem struck a chord with me, walking down the road with her head down, brainstorming images that were literally the same as mine, even though I'm not fat like that either.

2. Everyone lives in their own rut.

?Rae peeks into chole's diary and she realizes that the beautiful chole is actually envious of rae, she feels that she is not as interesting as Rae to mingle with the boys except for her attractive appearance. Like Finn and Rae said, everyone lives in their own rut. Who doesn't have strengths and weaknesses? Who doesn't have moments of weakness? And who doesn't have things that make them worthy of being loved?

Rae, in the eyes of his friends, is funny, funny, sings well, is strong, and is a lubricant between friends...

What about the person my friends think I am? I'm sure I'm not as boring and uninteresting as I am on the inside

3. Give yourself a chance. Rae's grades are so good that she can go to a very good college for her senior year. She wanted to give up at one point in order to be with Finn. And the psychiatrist helped her a lot. Unlike in the past, when the problem was thrown back to Rae, the psychiatrist gave direct advice and wanted her to go. The psychiatrist said "Because, you don't know what it means, at least not yet. You never know what's on the next hill, so at least consider it."

This passage hit me again. Many times I think I can control my own future direction, and even make some think great but correct decision, and if I really go on a number of years later I may really regret, because at the beginning of the too young, the pattern is not big enough, the consideration is not comprehensive, such a time to listen to the views of the past is not a bad thing.

4. Bravely face the problem.

finn actually cheated on his wife in the third season, and I really wanted to hit him. But this time, Rae grew up again, and Junior told her that she was too emotional, always transferring her negative emotions to Finn, and other friends, and making others sad. This conversation sends Rae back into self-doubt, to the point where at one point she wants to self-harm, kill herself, or even go back to the hospital. At one point while submerged in the water, Rae suddenly figured it out and realized she needed to save herself. She takes a hard look at her diary, takes a hard look at her past self, and takes a hard look at wanting to be better and love herself more.

She starts to bravely go to college, leaves the city she has lived in for so long, says goodbye to her friends, and tells them that she hopes they won't worry about her, and that she will try to work herself out of trouble.

Everyone is Rae, they've had low self-esteem, they've been confused, they've been emotional, they've been children.

Everyone should learn from Rae, face everything independently, let friends and family worry less, and be stronger.

The ending is also Rae's last diary.
