Kapok is a treasure all over the body, and flowers, skins and roots have medicinal value. In particular, kapok has the effects of clearing away heat and diuresis, detoxifying and relieving summer heat, and stopping bleeding. In spring, Chinese medicine often says that wet weight can cause symptoms such as weakness of limbs, indigestion and joint pain. Boiling kapok tea has a better effect on relieving the above symptoms.
Fresh ones must be dried before use. You can make soup or porridge. You can also cook pig bones with Smilax glabra and lentils.

Qingre Qushi-Kapok Decoction
Materials: 200 grams of pig bones (spines, bones and tendons), 6 fresh kapok flowers, 30 grams of coix seed, 30 grams of lentils (harmless), 7 or 8 figs (which can also be replaced by candied dates), 2 pieces of dried tangerine peel (harmless) and 2 or 3 pieces of ginger.
Exercise:
1. Boil pig bones in enough water to remove floating foam, add all the above materials, turn to low heat after boiling and cook slowly for about 2 hours.
2. Add salt and a little chicken powder.
