According to legend, in the third year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (AD 1864), Zeng Guofan led the Qing army to attack the Taiping Army, and Nanjing City (then called Tianjing) was besieged, and residents searched everywhere for wild vegetables to satisfy their hunger. They found that the tender stems and leaves of chrysanthemum brain were fragrant and delicious, and later they were introduced.
The plant height of chrysanthemum brain is 30 to 60 cm, and the stem is green and smooth. The leaves are oval and pinnate. These flowers are small and yellow. Cold resistance, heat resistance, strong adaptability, easy cultivation and fast growth. Because it has edges and corners, it can be planted in front of and behind the house. There are few pests and diseases, and white spots on leaves-rust disease, which will not affect the yield and spray vegetation.
