Origin Cinnamon Osmanthus fragrans Lour. of the genus Cinnamomum in the family of Mulleinaceae is used as a medicine for its flowers, fruits and roots. The flowers are collected in the fall; the fruits in the winter; and the roots in all seasons, which are dried separately.
