Lingbo fish is expensive. It is an important freshwater aquaculture species in Southeast Asian countries. This fish has the advantages of fast growth, large size, high yield, wide feeding habits, easy feeding, white and tender meat, delicious taste, rich nutrition, no intermuscular spines, and easy processing.

The current seedlings can grow to 500-800 grams after one year of feeding, and can grow to 1500-2000 grams the following year, with the largest individual reaching 15 kilograms. The appearance of Lingbo fish is very similar to the white bone fish produced in the Pearl River system of my country.
