Twining herbs. Stem slender, covered with 2 mm long, reflexed strigose hairs. Leaves are alternate, with 3 leaflets, stipules are ear-shaped, shield-shaped, 1 cm long, 4 mm wide, apex acute, base blunt, with radial veins; stipules linear, 7 mm long. The leaflets are nearly rhombus-shaped, 4 cm long and 3.5 cm wide. The lateral ones are the same shape as the terminal ones, covered with stiff hairs; the petiole is 5 mm long. The spikes are terminal and covered with very sparse pubescent hairs. The pods are linear, 4.5 cm long and 5 mm wide, with about 15 seeds. The fruit petals are twisted and covered with short hairs; the seeds are black, quadrangular, 3 mm long.
