My personal experience: Tips for treating plantar warts

In January 2019, I was troubled by plantar warts on my feet, but fortunately they recovered. First, let’s talk about plantar warts [zhí yóu]?

Baidu said that plantar warts are common warts that occur on the soles of the feet. It is mostly caused by human papilloma virus infection, which can be transmitted by self-inoculation through small breaks in the skin. Coupled with the daily stress on the feet and the friction of shoes, the number is increasing.

In 2017, I developed several plantar warts on the soles of my feet. They were neither painful nor itchy. I thought they were corns and didn’t pay much attention to them, but then they became more and more numerous. I heard that if this thing is not treated, it will become more and more numerous, and may even grow on the body. I was so scared that I rushed to the hospital. The doctor said that cryotherapy was needed, so I had it done that same day. The "pain" I experienced during the process was really hard to describe!

One month after the treatment, my family heard that rubbing it with white vinegar can cure it and prevent it from recurring. Later I tried this method and it really worked! (Method: Pour the white vinegar you bought into a pot and boil it for a while to evaporate the alcohol. Concentrate it and cool it, then pour it into a bottle and store it. Every time you use it, dip a cotton swab in it and apply it to the affected area. Repeat the application for at least ten days. Half a month. )

My dad also had a lot of growth on the soles of his feet before. He went to the hospital to buy some medicine and medicine, but the effect was not very good. After he continued to apply white vinegar for a period of time, the black spots on the soles of his feet fell off on their own. After he continued to apply them for a while, they did not appear again.

Besides, it took about half a month after I had the cryotherapy before my feet could walk normally again. However, there were still two or three small black spots that had not been completely treated. When I went for a review, the doctor said that I needed to do it again. Cryotherapy. It happened to be the Chinese New Year at that time, so I planned to wait until after the New Year. I happened to hear this wonderful tip at this time, so I used white vinegar to rub it every night. After rubbing it for a while, the small black spots fell off on their own. However, within a few days, the black spots grew back. I was wondering, Why didn't my dad's hair come out after applying it, but my hair came back after I applied it? My dad said that he wipes it every morning and evening, and he wipes more every time. So I insisted on wiping it for a while, applying more every time. Later, it didn't grow any more, and I finally got rid of this "worry".

So, I wrote this method down, hoping that more people can benefit from it and suffer less physical pain!

Let’s think back to my experience after cryotherapy!

Around the summer of 2017, one or two black spots appeared under the big toe of my left foot. At that time, I thought they were corns, so I went to the pharmacy to buy corn ointment. God, it has grown again. I didn't care about it after that, feeling that it didn't feel right when I walked and it wasn't in the way. But every time after washing my feet, the skin on the soles of my feet was all soaked and turned pale and scary. I checked online and found that 90% of people like me are not corns, but plantar warts!

By June 2018, there were about five or six small black dots, and by October there were eight or nine. I heard that if you don't look at it, it will keep spreading. Some people even have it on their hands and faces. I was so scared that I went to the dermatology department of the hospital for treatment the next day. The doctor also said that I had plantar warts and that I needed cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen is applied to the skin lesions to make the warts necrotic and fall off...) I asked, is there any other way besides cryotherapy? She said: Cryotherapy is the most convenient method. I said okay, so I asked the doctor to write a prescription. At that time, the doctor counted eight or nine black spots on my left foot. They cost 20 yuan each, and the larger ones were about 40 yuan. Then he prescribed some antiviral drugs. The medicine cost about two hundred yuan per session.

After paying the money, I went to the treatment room. The nurse brought some potion from the freezer. When I opened the potion, it was still cold. The nurse dipped a cotton swab in the potion and applied it to the black spots on my feet. Some of the black spots were relatively bright. I applied it several times to the concentrated areas. It was winter at that time, and my feet felt very cold and ice-cold when I first applied it. After a while, I felt that the applied skin on the soles of my feet was corroded, and it was extremely uncomfortable. It hurts so much that I have no choice but to endure it!

After I finished, I asked the nurse if I could wear shoes for walking? She said yes, so I put on my shoes and prepared to go downstairs. I felt pain in my feet. I walked slowly to the entrance of the hospital and took a taxi home.

When I took off my shoes when I got home, I saw that blisters had begun to form on the soles of my feet, especially under the big toe, where there were more black spots. The doctor said at that time that after cryotherapy, There would be blisters on the soles of my feet, and the blood blisters would get bigger the next day. I asked the doctor, would that affect my walking? She said no.

By night, those blisters had turned into blood blisters, filled with purple-brown blood. The big toe was extremely swollen. The doctor said that if the blood blisters become too big later, they can be poked with a needle. Break out the blood inside. But it was already night at that time, and I didn’t dare to poke it with a sewing needle, so I limped to bed and lay down, but the pain was so bad that I couldn’t sleep. My husband had never seen anything like this before, so it was difficult for me to walk. , I took a photo of my swollen feet with my mobile phone, and went to a nearby clinic to ask the doctor. The doctor said it was fine and it was normal. (I didn’t even dare to post that photo, it was too scary~~) I couldn’t bear it until the next day, so I called my sister to come over (my sister used to be a nurse). She brought a disposable syringe and helped her. I punctured the blood blister and pulled out the blood. I pricked several places before I could draw out the blood and water from the big blood blister. Otherwise, my toes would be so swollen that I wouldn't be able to walk.

Because I couldn’t walk normally, I took five or six days off from the company. At home, I popped several other small swollen blood blisters. It took several days for the blood in the blood blisters to flow out. It will be clean, and then it will slowly peel off, and the damaged skin will regrow, and it will take about a month to heal.
