How to deal with lentil poisoning

Inducing vomiting on the spot

Once lentil poisoning occurs, those with mild symptoms should immediately induce vomiting on the spot.

Method: Quickly drink a large amount of warm water or light salt water, then use your index finger or chopsticks to gently probe the throat and base of the tongue to induce vomiting, repeat 2 to 3 times. Then take milk, egg white or thick rice soup orally to protect the esophagus and gastric mucosa.

Note: It is forbidden to induce vomiting in patients with aneurysms and esophageal varices.

Gastric lavage
