The factors influencing the extraction efficiency of volatile oil from Illicium verum L. are temperature, humidity and extraction solvent. Different extraction solvents such as ethanol and acetone have great influence on the extraction efficiency of volatile oil from Illicium verum. Illicium verum is an evergreen tree, which is a special aromatic plant in China, mainly distributed in Guangxi, Guangdong, Guizhou, Yunnan and other provinces. Guangxi is the main producing area of Illicium verum in China.
