How to harvest loquat?
Loquat fruit has no post-ripening effect, and it must be fully mature to show good flavor. In order to fully display the quality of loquat and maintain the reputation of loquat origin, premature harvesting is not allowed. When the fruit surface is completely orange or yellow, it is a sign of maturity and should be harvested in time. If you need long-distance transportation, you can pick the fruit in advance when it is ripe. The fruit maturity of the whole tree or even the same ear is often inconsistent, and it can be harvested in batches after maturity. Loquat peel is thin and easy to be bruised, so be careful to pick it. When there is no dew on a sunny day, you should cut the fruit with fruit-picking scissors and put it in a fruit-picking container with padded material inside. In the process of picking, the hand only touches the fruit handle, and it is forbidden to hold it with your fingers at will, so as not to be bruised or crushed, or to wipe off the fluff and fruit powder on the fruit surface.
