First, clean the glass and spread foam.
The most important step in making a fish tank is that the glass must be clean and free of water and dust, so find a right-angled place to lean on, such as a wall, and place foam boards. The size of foam board is slightly larger than the bottom glass of fish tank.
2. Connect the rear glass and the bottom glass.
Put the bottom glass flat on the foam board, preferably keeping the distance of the glass thickness from the wall, stick the bottom edge of the back glass with glass glue, and place the back glass vertically against the wall and stick it with the bottom glass, so as to prevent it from tipping over if it leans back slightly.
Push down the glass and the back glass by hand for better adhesion, and smooth the glass glue by hand. You can also put a small bucket and a bottle full of water at the bottom and lean against the back glass. Pay attention to uniform force when applying glue, try not to apply glue and leave no bubbles.
Third, stick two sides.
The gluing method on the side is one horizontal and one vertical, and it is necessary to stick both the back glass and the bottom glass. Don't stick the glass upside down here. Generally, the left side is glued to the back and bottom glass first, then the glass glue is smoothed by hand, and the back and side glass are quickly fixed with adhesive tape, and then the other side is glued in the same way.
Fourth, finally install the front glass of the fish tank.
After the two sides are fixed with adhesive tape, the articles with fixed glass can be removed. If you are not at ease, you can lean against the two side mirrors outside the cylinder in the same way. Glue three sides of the front glass directly to the edges and bottom of both sides, smooth the remaining glue by hand and fix it with adhesive tape.
5. Beat all the glue joints with glass glue again and then smooth them out, and the whole work will be over.
Generally speaking, it takes 20 minutes to make a one-meter fish tank without filtering or stringing. Let's see what's not good. Clean up the excess glass glue with a utility knife. When the glue dries, just drain it. You can choose eight to ten thick glasses for a one-meter fish tank.
