Before the havoc in the Heavenly Palace, the Monkey King was just an ordinary stone monkey jumping out of a crack in the stone. With his cleverness and courage, he became the Monkey King of Huaguoshan. But he has no special skills except courage. After seeing the monkeys and grandchildren around him facing the tragic situation of birth, illness and death, he came up with the idea of immortality. The Monkey King is determined to cross the ocean to learn the method of immortality. After being instructed, he finally arrived at Fangcun Mountain in Lingtai by himself on a small bamboo raft, and found a bodhi founder with great magical powers.
Seeing that he was sincere and talented, Bodhi's father liked him very much, so he accepted him as a disciple and named him the Monkey King. Bodhi's founder taught the Monkey King the wonderful method of longevity he wanted, and also taught the Monkey King the skills of eighteen martial arts, seventy-two changes and somersault clouds.
Tang Priest is the second master of the Monkey King. The Tang Priest rescued the Monkey King from the foot of Wuxing Mountain and saved the Monkey King's life, which was a rebirth of his parents.
