The operating pressure of a pressure cooker is generally 80-100 kPa.
The pressure cooker applies pressure to water through the physical phenomenon that the boiling point of liquids rises at higher air pressure, so that the water can reach a higher temperature without boiling, in order to speed up the efficiency of stewing food. It can be used to heat the food being cooked to more than 100 degrees Celsius, and at high altitudes, the use of a pressure cooker can avoid the problem of water boiling point decreasing and not easy to cook the food.
Pressure cooker is made of high-quality aluminum or stainless steel plate stamping, its working pressure is 80 ~ 100 kPa. Selection of pressure cooker, in addition to see whether the surface is smooth and clean, the pot inside and outside the alkali stains, oil stains, water stains, it is more important to see whether there are pits, deflated, scratches, burrs and other defects, the bottom of the pot and the pot edges are smooth, rounded, neat, there are no air holes and slag and so on.
Precautions for the use of pressure cooker:
1, see the exhaust pipe no steam discharge, the float falls, you can open the lid in the counterclockwise direction. If the float does not fall, prove that the pot still exists in the pressure, then the air pressure interlocking device will play the role of insurance, can not open the lid of the pot, do not force to open the lid. The chopsticks should be used to press the indicator valve down, so that the residual gas in the pot is discharged, before opening the lid.
2. Before closing the lid, you should check whether the exhaust pipe is unobstructed, the anti-clogging cover is clean, the safety valve is intact, and whether the float is freely moving up and down, and is in the falling position. Put the lid flat on the pot to fix the pot, let the lid rotate clockwise as shown in the figure, until the upper and lower handles are completely overlap, then just move to the working position, the float valve has been completely exposed.
