Materials required:
-Cherry: 300g
-Fine sugar: 80g.
-Cream: 300ml
-Gelatine tablets: 9g
-Warm water: 30ml
Steps:
1. Wash the cherries, remove the stones, and then put them into a blender to make a paste.
2. Put the mashed cherries and fine sugar into a small pot, heat and stir until the sugar is completely melted. Turn off the heat a little, continue to cook for about 5 minutes, let the cherries ripen, and then turn off the heat.
3. Soak the gelatin tablet in 30 ml warm water for about 5 minutes until the gelatin is completely melted.
4. Pour the melted gelatin into the cherry puree and stir well.
5. Next, pour the whipped cream into a large bowl and stir it at high speed with a blender or eggbeater until the whipped cream thickens and forms a soft peak.
6. Add the light cream into the cherry puree several times, and gently stir evenly with a rubber scraper to ensure uniform and fluffy mixing.
7. Pour the mixture evenly into a small cup or mold. Tap the mold gently to remove bubbles.
8. Refrigerate the cherry mousse in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight to solidify it.
9. Decorate it with some fresh cherries or chocolate chips.
10. Cherry mousse can be eaten!
