Fish Skin Craft--Hezhe is a less populated ethnic group in China, according to the relevant historical records and unearthed artifacts, the Hezhe people have more than 6,000 years of history, the ethnic group since ancient times, fishing and hunting for a living, and use the fish skin to make all kinds of clothing (including shaman religious clothing) also has a thousand years of history. In June, 2006, the Hezhen fish skin production technology was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
Herzhe fish skin costumes designed by Ms. Liu Sheng of Fujin City, a craft artist of Heilongjiang Province, a member of the provincial folklore research society of the Herzhe people, won the gold medal in the first China Folk Crafts Expo, the fifth China Folk Literature and Arts Mountain Flower Prize, Folk Crafts Prize Competition activities.

Herzhe people live in Tongjiang City, Heilongjiang Province, Jiejinkou is not a closed place, where the tourism industry is booming, the local government attaches great importance to the development of the tourism industry, the establishment of the Herzhe cultural village. Since there is no writing, young people can only learn to sing Hezhen folk songs by having them sung in Hezhen, and they record the songs on their cell phones and learn them through audio recordings. The combination of modern technology and ancient culture is both clever and helpless.
