Guangzhou alias Wuyangcheng, Yangcheng and Suicheng, these aliases come from the legend of Wuyang. According to legend, five immortals dressed in five-color clothes rode five-color sheep and came to Guangzhou with "six ears coming out of one stem" in their hands. After handing them over to the people in the city, they soared away, while the five sheep turned to stone. Therefore, Guangzhou is also called "Sui" for short.
