Planting time of laver head
Porphyra head is a common vegetable, which can be transplanted all year round, but if you want to get high yield, it is best to sow it from September to March every year.
Planting method and key points of laver head
1, seedbed
It is best to choose loose, fertile plots with convenient irrigation and drainage for planting laver heads. After digging deep into the soil, prepare the soil and make a boundary with a width of about1-1.2m. There should also be rain-proof and sun-proof equipment on the seedbed, and at the same time, a proper amount of high-quality farmyard manure should be added to the soil as the base fertilizer.
2. Sow seeds
The head of laver can be sown by dry sowing method, and the furrow is cut in the border according to 8- 10 cm. Then plant seeds in it, cover it with soil about 1.5 cm, and then harrow it to suppress it. You can also soak the seeds for about two hours before sowing.
Key points of seaweed head management
After planting laver head, the ambient temperature should be kept at about 15-20℃. When watering, you should "dry and wet" and wait until the soil is dry before watering. When the plant has 1-2 true leaves, it can be transplanted and planted.
