Morphological characteristics:
Perennial herb, 20 ~ 45 cm high, with a strong smell. Rhizomes are horizontal, with many fibrous roots and 1 ~ 3 clustered bulbs on them. Basal leaves, long linear, flat, entire, smooth and hairless, dark green.
The flower stem is extracted from the leaves, which can reach 50cm long and is triangular; Umbellies terminal, involucral bracts membranous white; Perianth 6-lobed, white; Stamens 6; Pistil 1, ovary superior. The capsule is triangular and green. The seeds are black, flat, slightly semi-oval, with angular edges. The flowering period is from June to July, and the fruiting period is from July to September.
Harvesting and processing:
When the fruit is ripe in autumn, collect the preface, dry in the sun, rub off the seeds and remove impurities.
